Favorite Places w/e Oct. 9

October 9, 2010

I haven’t done this in awhile, and with it being fall, have been racking up the favorites because I LOVE FALL and all that it entails :) But here are some of my favorite links from the past few weeks. Add some veggies in, and this might very well comprise my menu plan for the week!

Breakfasts

Sausage Pancakes @ Heavenly Homemakers

Main Meals

Garlic Soup @ Tasty Kitchen

Root Vegetable Soup with Honey & Sage @ The English Kitchen

Lasagna Soup @ Joy in my Kitchen

Moussaka @ Simply Recipes (though this will morph into a potato moussaka, instead)

Parsnip, Apple and Thyme soup @ The English Kitchen (evidently soups were really speaking to me this week)

Dinner Rolls in a Jar @ Simple Bites – this is the cutest thing and would make any special meal stand out!

Chili with Corn Dumplings @ Full Bellies

Gnocchi Mac n Cheese @ Cutting Edge of Ordinary – this is for the little guy who will eat nothing else on this list.

Desserts

Acorn Bites @ Cutting Edge of Ordinary

Pumpkin Pie Pudding @ A Southern Fairytale

Quick Apple Dip @ NourishMD

Dark Chocolate Buttercrunch @ King Arthur Flour

Apple Pie Brownies @ Eat at Home

Nice, I’m going to try the garlic soup today! And then I’m trying Stacey’s recommendations of Apricot Chicken and Pomegranate Beef!

That looks like a great book. My favorite kids book lately was an iPad book about the Grumpies. My moody 4 year old can really relate to it.
